Modern elections have turned into a real media circus, haven't they? The contenders this year for president of these United States include: Barack Obama, Hilary Clinton, and John McCain. Ralph Nader- sorry buddy- I don't think so. I kinda like you, actually. But you can't win. Barack Obama CAN win! Posed with the challenge of choosing one of these people to represent our country as president, I'm going with Barack Obama. If Hilary takes Obama down in the primaries and wins the democratic nomination, I'll have to scratch my head a bit, but I guess I'll wind up voting for her. I'll be nervous about things with her finger on the trigger. However, McCain will keep us in Iraq forever, and I'm not down with that at all. He's also 400 years old, and that doesn't work for me either.
This blog is a test more than anything. I'm curious to see if I can actually attract some traffic to this site, so we can have some good exchanges. If so, this could be the first of a few or one main blog to discuss a variety of issues today. At present, I see this presidential election as a HUGE deal. The plan of action will be much different depending on who gets elected in 2008. I'm also amazed at how sharply divided the country continues to be in regard to politics........and a whole bunch of other things too, I guess.
OK, so lets get our blog on! I'm ready for y'all! Lay it on me- AND DON'T HOLD BACK! Peace.
